StudioVisit - Platform for artist's studio visit

Artist's Studio is an opportunity for artists and art lovers to get closer. Artists have the chance to stay in a permanent and direct contact with their public. Art lovers have the opportunity get to get to know the artist deeply, their way of working, their personality and ideas. The studio then can function as a showroom where can be seen, analyzed and even sold.

Some time ago I found a book about the contemporary art market and in the back of the book it read how art market and art are indispensably tied to one another and how this relationship should break. The answer that I propose for this dilemma is the present Studio Visit concept.

What I imagine is removing the mediators, between the artist and the public whether it be the institutions or art dealers. Artists Studios could become the "show rooms" where artists can meet the public interested in their work, talk with them, see what they like and motivate them to buy small or big artworks. This is a big opportunity for the artists to build long relationships with their public. For the public it is also a great chance to meet the person behind the artworks, ask them questions, negotiate directly and get artworks for a better price. And the most important? Both share something they love.
