About this works
As children, we always find the feeling of being scared fascinating. We watch movies, we play games and we build characters in our imagination that bring us fear. Those characters come from stories, TV or magazines. But when we see them again as grownups they don’t really look as scary as they did when we were children. This series is inspired by UY UY UY, the villain protagonist of . . . series that I used to watch as a child. I remember being frustrated by his . . .. therefore, in these drawings, I explore the idea of fear and childhood innocence as a ‘grown-up' artist.
