About this works
Figurabstracts is a series where I experiment with figurative and abstract representations of movement. In these ‘diptychs’, I first create a presumable representation of myself doing all sorts of things. Then, following the sketch, I make an image of myself and see how these two expressions of the same stance and person come together (if they do). This again, helps me understand the functions of concept / non-concept.
